A very warm good morning to our respected Director, Principal, Teachers and all the juniors, seniors and all my friends. Today I'm " Your Name" is here to deliver my speech on the great national event of India i.e. our 71st Independence Day. As we all know that Independence day is an auspicious occasion for all of us.
India’s Independence Day is the most important day to all the Indian citizens and has been mentioned forever in the history. It is the day when we got freedom from the British rule after many years of hard struggle by the great freedom fighters of India. We celebrate our Independence Day on every 15th August of every year to remember freedom of our country and the sacrifices of our great leaders who gave their life for our freedom from British rule.
India got Independence on 15th August 1947 from British rule. After getting freedom from them we got our all the fundamental rights in our own nation. We all should feel proud to be an Indian and admire our fortune that we took birth on the land of an Independent India. History of India tells everything about the sacrifices of our ancestors and the brutal rules by British Government. We even can't imagine about their sacrifices and efforts to make this country free and set our own Constitution. It took sacrifices of lives of many freedom fighters and several decades of struggle from 1857 to 1947. An Indian soldier (Mangal Pandey) in the British force had first raised his voice against Britishers for the independence of India.
After that many freedom fighters raised their voice again British rule we can't forget the great sacrifices of our legends Bhagat Singh, Chandra Shekhar Azad, Sukhdev, Rajguru, Khudi Ram Bose who had lost their lives in early age just for fighting for our country our motherland. How can we ignore all the struggles of Netaji and Gandhiji? Gandhiji was a great Indian personality who taught Indians a big lesson of non-violence. He was the one and only who lead India to get free with the help of nonviolence. Finally, the result of long years of struggle came in front on 15th of August 1947 when India got freedom.
We are so lucky that our forefathers have given us a land of peace and happiness where we can sleep the whole night without fear and enjoy the whole day in our school or home. India is the fast developing country it is developing in the field of technology, education, sports, finance and various other fields which were almost impossible before freedom. India comes under the list of rich countries in nuclear power. Our country is growing day by day in participating in international events like Olympics, Commonwealth Games, and Asian Games.
We all know India is a democratic country and we all have right to choose our government and enjoy the largest democracy in the world. Yes, we are free and have complete freedom, however, we should not understand ourselves free of responsibilities towards our country. As being responsible citizens of the country, we should be always ready to handle any emergency condition in our country.

A very warm good morning to our respected Director, Principal, Teachers and all the juniors, seniors and all my friends. Today I'm " Your Name" is here to deliver my speech on the great national event of India i.e. our 72th Independence Day.
We celebrate this day with lots of enthusiasm and joy every year because our country got freedom on this day in 1947 from the British rule. We are here to celebrate 72th independence day. It is the biggest day of joy and happiness for every citizen of India because on this day we got our freedom from British rule. People of India have suffered the cruelty of Britishers for many years.
Today we all are free in almost every fields like sports, education, technology, finance, business, transportation etc.
Just because of the efforts of our great and great ancestors. Before 1947, people were not so free even they were restricted to have rights on their own body and mind. They were the slave of Britishers and forced to follow all the orders of them. But now, we are free to do anything just because of the struggles and efforts of our ancestors to get freedom from British Government.
Independence Day is celebrated all over India with much pleasure. This day is of great importance to all Indian citizens as it gives us an opportunity to remember all those freedom fighters who had sacrificed their lives just for giving us a beautiful and peaceful life. Earlier to the independence, people were not allowed to get the education, eat healthy food and live the normal life like us.
Indians were treated more badly than slaves by the Britishers just to fulfill their meaningless orders.
Some of the great freedom fighters of India are Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose, Jawahar Lal Nehru, Mahatma Gandhiji, Bal Gangadhar Tilak, Lala Lajpat Ray, Bhagat Singh, Khudi Ram Bose and Chandra Sekhar Azad. They were famous patriots who struggled hard for the freedom of India till the end of their life.
We can't even imagine the sacrifices of our great leaders but now after Independence Day, our country is in the right direction of development. Even in international events people from India represent our motherland in other countries
India is our motherland it is our everything we should always protect our country from bad people. It's our responsibility to support in every development of our country and make it the best country in the world.

A very warm good morning to our honorable Chief-Guest respected teachers, juniors and seniors. I wish you a very happy Independence day to all of you. We all know that today we all are gathered here to celebrate our 72th Independence Day.
We all are excited celebrating this great day in such an excellent manner.
First of all, we hoist our honorable national flag then give a salute to all the heroic deeds of the freedom fighters. Today I'm feeling very proud to be an Indian Citizen. Also thanks to my class teacher for giving me chance to stand & speak my views between all of you on this biggest day of joy and happiness for every Indian Citizen.
We celebrate Independence Day on 15th August of every year because India got freedom on the night of 14th August 1947. And today we are here to celebrate our 72th Independence Day. Just after the independence of India, Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru had given a speech on the Independence Day in New Delhi.
When the whole world was sleeping people from India were struggling for freedom from the British Rule. Now, after the independence, India has been a largest democratic country in the world. Our country is a most famous country for the saying of unity in diversity. However, we face many problems of testing secularism but we stand together to give the answer with unity.
Because of struggles of our great ancestors we are taking fresh air according to our wishes. Before Independence, People from India were not allowed to take a breath without permission. Getting freedom was really the biggest task but our ancestors did it and now, because of them we are free
from British rule.
We can never forget their works and always remember them through the history. We cannot remember all the deeds of all the freedom fighters in a day only, however, can give them a heartily salute. They would always be in our memories and way of inspiration to our whole life.
Today is the biggest day for every Indian which we celebrate by remembering sacrifices and efforts of our great leaders who gave their lives in early age just to get freedom for our country.
We should value and salute all the Indian citizens because they are the real national heroes. We should keep faith in the secularism and never be separate to maintain the unity so that no one can break and rule again.
